Global Partnerships Organization/NGO Council, its NGO members and stakeholders attended the 1st anniversary of the Hustler Fund Initiative. The Hustler fund is a digital financial inclusion initiative designed to improve financial access to responsible finance for personal, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Kenya. In the event the Deputy Governor of Nairobi welcomed all to the celebration, while appreciating the milestones the Fund has made. Inspiring stories by beneficiaries of the fund were shared . His Excellency President William Samoei Ruto addressed the Hustlers and in his address he touched on the state of the economy and what the government has been doing to better it. The President shared the achievements of the fund ; (the number of individuals/groups that have borrowed the fund, the groups registered under the fund, the amount borowed in the one year of progress and benefits of the fund to the people of Kenya). His excellency did not fail to mention that the fund is self-sustaining.
